Terms & Conditions of Business

All payments once made are non-refundable however for some of our services they may be transferrable.  Full details can be found below.

121 Puppy Consultations, 121 Behavioural Consultations & Zoom Consultations
The fee for these services is £135, payable in advance at the time of booking.  Once paid, payment becomes non-refundable.  However if you are unable to attend your prebooked appointment and provided we are informed in writing via email within a minimum of 72 hours notice, we can reschedule your appointment for an alternative date and time.  Alternatively we can transfer your payment in the form of a credit for an alternative service.  Failure to give adequate notice may forfeit your payment.

3 Week “Calmness Leads To Reward” Dog Training & Behaviour Course

The total cost for the intensive 3 week “Calmness Leads To Reward” Dog Training & Behaviour Course is £135 per dog payable in 2 stage payments.

Payment 1: To secure your enrolment, a non-refundable deposit payment of £60 per dog is payable immediately on our website.

Payment 2: The outstanding course balance of £75 per dog must be paid at the scheduled first session. 

Once paid all payments become non-refundable. However if you are unable to attend the first scheduled class we can transfer your payments to the next month's class.

Receipt & Confirmation of Enrolment

Once your payment has been made our website will provide you with a copy of your receipt which is confirmation of your enrolment.  We will not make any further contact until 1 week before the start of the first scheduled class. This contact will be made via email and its purpose will be to confirm final details before attendance.

Cancellation Policy

If for whatever reason we are unable to hold or are forced to cancel a scheduled class date(s) as an example perhaps due to a government lockdown in the case of Covid 19 or severe weather conditions.  We are not obliged to offer you a cash refund.  Instead we will offer a replacement date(s) at a future time suitable for us.  However if through your own fault you fail to attend one of the scheduled class dates for whatever reason and the class takes place as programmed you are not entitled to a refund or a replacement date. 

Admission
We reserve the right to refuse admission to a dog that we deem to be out of their comfort zone, unsafe and aggressive towards people or other dogs.  Should this describe your dog, then we advise before proceeding that you contact us to arrange a 1-2-1 Behavioural Consultation, where we can make an assessment of your dog’s behaviour and discuss a programme of rehabilitation before attending a group class. 

Vaccination

It is advisable to have all your dog’s booster vaccines including vaccination against kennel cough up to date before attending the classes.

2 Week Residential Programme

The fee for our 2 Week Residential Programme is £895 payable in 2 stage payments.

Payment 1: A £200 non-refundable deposit payment is required immediately through our website to secure your dates.
Payment 2: The balance of £695 is payable via bank transfer to our nominated bank account a minimum of 72 hours prior to attendance.  Once paid, all payments made become non-refundable.

However should you find you are unable to attend the scheduled dates we require written notice via email within a minimum of 72 hours prior to attendance and we will do our best to rearrange new dates for your dog’s stay. Failure to inform us of non attendance within the minimum time frame may forfeit all payments made and we will not be obliged to offer alternative dates.

Retriever Training - Guru Style Courses

Full payment for our Retriever Training Courses becomes due at the time of booking, once paid all payments made become non-refundable.

Terms of Sale - DVD - USB - Dog Food

Payment and acceptance

If you buy an item from the Keith Mathews The Dog Guru Site you will be charged for the item when you place your order. After this time, you cannot amend your order. Your order is an offer to buy from us, you will not be entitled to a refund if you change your mind.

Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address specified when you complete the order. Delivery service is worldwide. We use a variety of delivery methods, depending on the size of the item you order and the speed with which you wish to receive it.

Most of our goods are dispatched on the next working day we receive your order. We aim to deliver dog food using our courier service within within 5 days. All DVD sales are sent via normal recorded royal mail post. Once your order leaves the jurisdiction of the UK we cannot be held responsible for delivery times that is dependent on the efficiency of the postal service in your own country. However most international items are delivered within 21 days of placing your order.

Sometimes a signature is required at delivery. By placing an order you are authorising us to accept signature from another person on your behalf if you need to sign for an item and you are not present at the time of delivery.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

Should your goods arrive damaged or in a faulty state, we will not issue a cash refund, instead a replacement product will be provided but only after we receive the faulty item back.

 By making payment for one of our services you acknowledge that you are accepting and agreeing to our Terms of Business.
